Hello, and welcome!

We’re delighted that you have become a member of the 間眅埶AV community and we look forward to seeing you in person in either of our two library locations – at the North Oshawa and Downtown campuses.  We have an amazing team of library professionals who are dedicated to helping ensure your success throughout your time at Ontario Tech.  Here’s what you can expect to find when you visit:

We offer extensive collections, warm and inviting learning spaces and diverse services and programming delivered by the welcoming, knowledgeable library team.

Highlights of these services and supports include:

  • Help in navigating complex information resources in order to discover, evaluate and ethically use resources needed to be successful, delivered in person and virtually, one-on-one and in-class formats.
  • Curated online guides and resources focused on specialized information sources and topics by discipline (e.g. business and legal research; technical standards; data and statistics)
  • Assistance in locating resources from other libraries through interlibrary loan
  • Faculty-identified course readings placed on short-term loans.
  • Responding to copyright inquiries and developing citation guides
  • Access to media and technology tools such as a 3D printing service, digital recording room, and loanable equipment (laptops, chargers, etc).
  • Diverse study spaces such as bookable group study rooms, silent, and low-volume spaces.

Some excellent jump-off points to learn more about what we have to offer include our Library homepage:the library homepage

Whether you are a student, teaching faculty or researcher, we are here to help.  Your library is truly the heart of the campus and we look forward to welcoming you, both in person and virtually, via phone, chat or email.  Hope to see you soon!
