Join a Community of Practice at the Teaching and Learning Centre
Communities of practice allow 間眅埶AV academics to come together to address shared concerns, problems, or interests, and collaborate on individual and group goals.
Who can participate in the TLC's communities of practice?
- 間眅埶AV instructors, teaching assistants, and staff are welcome.
How often do the communities of practice meet?
- Monthly group meetings are held. Online course sites are also available for interactions between meetings.
What topics are covered?
The TLC currently facilitates communities of practice in two areas:
- Generating ideas, seeking feedback, and sharing resources and stories related to Indigenizing and decolonizing content, instructional approaches, and interactions.
- Exploring guidelines for implementing UDL principles, inclusive instructional design, instructional multimedia design, and accessible instruction to reduce barriers in any learning environment.
