Ancillary Services has developed a guide to ordering catering at Ontario Tech University.

While event hosts are free to choose any catering company, we have simplified the process by providing a list of preferred providers below.

If you decide to use a company not on this list, please make sure they meet the insurance requirements set by the Office of Risk Management and be mindful of including .

Food Services by Dana/Marek Hospitality

We are excited to announce some updates to our on-campus catering services. Effective Tuesday, September 3, our prior offerings will be replaced with the following: 

• For events with fewer than 100 guests: We now offer a delightful selection of catering boxes. These can be conveniently ordered online with a minimum of three business days' notice and picked up at Hunter’s Kitchen at your scheduled time. Our offerings include breakfast, lunch, charcuterie, sweets, and light refreshment boxes. Internal ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV catering clients will enjoy a 20 per cent discount off the listed price (some exclusions apply). Please note, the catering boxes replace our previous menu offerings and are available for pick up only at Hunter’s Kitchen (ground level, Business and Information Technology building).  
• For larger events (100 guests or more): Menus and pricing will be customized based on your specific needs and budget. Acceptance of larger orders is dependent on staff availability on your event day. We request at least 14 business days' notice for such events.  Internal ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV University catering clients will enjoy a 20 per cent discount off the listed price (some exclusions apply). 

Tim Hortons catering for any size group: We will continue to provide our bake and brew catering menu at Tim Hortons in Shawenjigewining Hall. Orders can be placed in-person at the Tim Hortons location or by contacting the catering office by email at catering.ontech@dexterra.com. Minimum three days’ notice for orders please. Pickup can be arranged at Tim Hortons or Hunter’s Kitchen. Due to our franchise agreement, we are unable to offer discounts on Tim Hortons catering orders.

They bake goods in-house, prepare fresh food daily and can accommodate dietary restrictions as needed. They can serve ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV University (north Oshawa and downtown Oshawa campus location) functions.
